I forgot to add that Walker dropped the ball big time when he allowed Chris Wallace to lay a guilt trip on him about whether he thought Obama loved America. He should have left
Wallace scarred and broken for asking him that question.
Shifting the discussion to Liz Mair is a diversionary tactic.
Second, anyone can say they were misquoted and I imagine that many have in the past.
Third, was he misquoted one way or the other about not sure if Obama does or does not love his country? Which is it?
Fourth, saying “Who is paying you” is an unsubstantiated loaded question - and no one is paying me anyway, thank you very much.
Fifth, is Walker some saint that he is above scrutiny more than say Jeb Bush?
Sixth, Cruz is and has always been Da’ Man -— and you know this to be true.
Wrong.
Stalin is paying me. LOL.
And I support Julius Caesar, too. LOL.
Why shift the discussion to her vis-à-vis a diversionary tactic?
>>Wall Street Journal, 3/26/2015:<<
Both Walker and people in the meeting rebutted the article as soon as it appeared, stating that he did not voice support for a path to citizenship in that meeting.
Like many in here, any sort of amnesty was apparently interpreted as a “path to citizenship” by the Journal’s source.
But all of a sudden, the news media is to be fully trusted....
>>Unlike Ted Cruz, Walker may change his mind, again.<<
I listened to an interview of Scott Walker on the Michael Berry show down here in Houston on the A.M. dial.
Then read an article a week later of Scott Walker’s comments at some gathering up North regarding immigration.
The boy contradicted himself. Typical politician. Pander to the crowd.
>> Cruz has said hes open to discussing a path to legal status for some, but not citizenship. <<
But...but...but...That’s Amnesty!
As I’ve said repeatedly in here, anyone looking for a GOP candidate against all forms of amnesty will not find one, Cruz included.
So giving the Newsmax article is somehow pimping Liz Mair?
LOL.
Nice Ad Hominem attack from you towards me too, BTW.
Just more attacking the messenger instead of dealing with all of the info given here... Yawn.
man, that piece of s.... Lyndon Johnson was for open borders even then?! they’ve always been pieces of garbage. Joseph “jumping Joe” Swing :) in two months 50000 arrested and 500,000 fled!! Shipped 500 miles away!!!
I hope Cruz is up to the challenge. A lot more legal Hispanics than 60 years ago.
Read post #27. Thank you.
Read post #27.
Thank you.
Mair showed exceptionally poor judgment with her tweets about Iowans. She apparently worked for Walker in a Governor’s race, but her politics combined with her obvious lack of discretion disqualifies her from working for a GOP Presidential candidate.
And now she’s making sure of it....
What did Cruz say about Obama loving this country?
is this a trick question. I’m new and don’t wan t to get in trouble lol. I honestly don’t know if he was ever asked or answered
Walker approving citizenship.
I’m not saying Walker hasn’t contradicted himself. He has changed his views on immigration, something that, frankly, Wisconsinites don’t deal with much, but if the article you read was the WSJ article, it was denied the next day, by others at the same meeting.
As for the “typical politician” remark, I think he’s a lot better at figuring out the politics of any particular matter than most. He knows where he wants to go, but he also has a good sense of how far he can get with the next move. That’s a political skill, one that Rubio, for example, has shown he currently lacks.
“But I am glad to welcome his arrival at the correct point of view. Arent you?”
Well, Republicans running for office do have a history of telling us what we want to hear and flipping right back to their old script in the general election, or once they get into office. So color me skeptical of anyone who has a last minute “come to Jesus” moment right as they decide to run for President.
If the squatters can pay a fine, they can pay for their own way back home.
