Arkansas black leaders are urging fellow minorities to take up arms, join gun clubs and help curb what they perceive as unjustified violence from police – the latest of many such call-to-arms among members of the black community.
“Law enforcement has to understand, you cannot do what you please when you see us,” said Crittenden County NAACP chief, Shabaka Afrika, in a news conference reported by WTOC.
Crittenden County Justice Commission founder Hubert Bass said locals ought to become better educated, especially about their constitutional rights, and should join gun clubs.
“We’re going to study law,” he said. “What our rights are. We also want to be looking at our constitutional rights in carrying weapons. All police encounters need to be recorded. It’s unfortunate it has to be that way. But it has to be that way.”
Afrika emphasized the NAACP was “not against law enforcement. We need law enforcement. But it has to be accountable,” he said, WTOC reported.

If you do the math with the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) statistics and a bit of Census data you come up with the following conclusions: 4% of the US population commits 40+% of all homicides. Call me a racist, but its a fact that African-American males, ages 15-40 (4% of the US population) kill 40+% of all murder victims in the US. Typically they kill other African-American males, they do it with handguns and it happens in urban areas of our country. The reason why the 40+% number is not precise is that not all murderers race is known, and according to the FBI sometimes they don’t know the race of the victim (seems odd to me, but those are the numbers). This proportion has been consistent over a long period of time.
Apparently Black people are already taking up arms, at least it seems to me. I do believe that self-defense is a natural right and in those places where our States ignore the plain meaning of the 2nd Amendment those laws are unconstitutional on their face, and should be repealed as well. Further I note that violent crime rates (including murder) are down over the last 20 years or so, and NOT increasing as our state propaganda organs (aka the LSM) would have Americans believe.
Maybe not. In the long run, obama don’t give a damn about the blacks or the police. Blacks, if they do what this says may be waking up.

The NAACP should instead be teaching blacks how to be nice, cautious and respectful when interacting with a police officer. The result would be many less dead blacks.
Oh, bs. You know damn well he’s not talking about shooting the poor, disadvantaged youth who’s robbing you in the street or breaking into your home. Mr. Afrika is living in a critical race theory fantasyland, where industrious, clean-living blacks have nothing more to fear than rampaging racist white cops gunning them down on their way to work and church.

Life is a reason to live. GOD gave us this gift that we have.
I have seen the good and the bad. I have lived through the many temptations that this world brings.
Our government is now supporting those temptations without regarding the consequences of them.
For once, I fully support this idea, because it is a good one.
Most people, especially police, are susceptible to the bad idea that having a gun magically imparts dominance in a situation, and control over other people. It does not.
But if you think it does, your behavior changes to be more aggressive than situations warrant, more inclined to brandish and use your gun, even when wildly inappropriate.
And this is not just limited to guns. It is called the “hammer rule”, in that, if you have been given a new hammer, suddenly all problems look like nails.
In this situation, were black people to “just” buy guns and carry them, but never train with them, they would be just as ignorant as a similarly untrained gang banger—unable to hit the broad side of a bar because he fires his gun sideways.
But, if the same black person trains with a gun at a gun club, with people who know what they are doing, they can actually get a sense of what a gun can and cannot do, especially the dominance and control thing.
Yet all of this is not really about them, but about the police.
In Arizona, the police always assume that everybody is armed. Even ordinary people meeting a stranger are aware that they *might* be armed. The result is not gun play, but politeness.
If a policeman approaches a person of *any* color in Arizona, they do *not* assume they are dominant in the situation or that they control the other person than perhaps by the dint of their uniform they can command their attention. So politeness rules the day.
However, it also behooves people to not make sudden or threatening movements, because if the cop even suspects you are trying to draw a gun he will kill you dead and fast.
So what does this mean to black people? Unlike past calls for them to arm themselves, this is a call to intelligently arm themselves. Such a call will only appeal to those who are already intelligent, likely middle class and wealthy.
Stupid black people will still do stupid things and get shot.
