Just got this notice from a church leader I've been following on Facebook: The crisis in Iraq has got worse than ever. Scores have been murdered, (behead, raped, homes and churches destroyed we always think it can't get worse and it does. Dr Sarah is in Erbil and her stories today are just too awful to tell. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From A Trusted Sorce The islamist group (ISIS) just took over Quaragosh, the biggest Christian city in Iraq. There are hundreds of men, women and children that are being beheaded. The people are asking for prayers to be made on their behalf concerning the ongoing atrocity in their country. Please take one minute to pray for them. Pass the message across to all your contacts so that the prayer chain will not be broken. They asked for this special prayer. Please, ensure you pass across the prayer request to the body of Christ for fervent prayers offered on behalf of the brothers, sisters and children in Iraq. This is an urgent SOS message please. Thank you for your concern. May the Lord bless you and yours, and always send help your way. Amen. Like Share
More blood on 0bunghole’s hands. He’s swimming in it now and he LOVES it.
May the Lord’s peace be with them all!
Christians need to arm themselves and organize. There is NO OTHER way for survival with muslims...
Based on the almost-nonexistent outrage expressed by Christian and Catholic groups in America, it’s pretty clear who the winner will be. Either that or the media here is censoring it. Inexplicably, I believe the former is true.
Sadly I agree.
God help our poor Christian brothers in Iraq.
On my prayer list.
Lord, have Mercy.
We’re chilled to the bone and helpless to intervene, but for begging to God. Come, Lord Jesus.
Isn’t there something we can do? We are not organized to even protest. Our electronics and keyboards have us off the streets, perfectly contained to do nothing and be silent.
Prayers up!
I feel so helpless...this is family...
Pray this hymn for them all.

Already on my nightly

“4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
Rev 20:4. Just a few years ago it was hard to imagine Christians could literally be being slaughtered by beheading in this “modern”, “civilized” world. Suddenly it is happening daily, and so often it barely makes the news. Evil is thriving, rampaging, and “civilization” turns it’s head and does nothing. How is this so different from Hitler’s slaughter of the Jews? Humanity is in a shameful, calloused, merciless, awful place, when it can turn away from such mindless, violent slaughter and allow this to happen every damn day.
I’m ashamed of the human race. I’m ashamed to be part of it. This is unconscionable. There is no excuse for it. Insanity reigns. Good people are being murdered. Hell they’ve beheaded Americans on video for the world to watch and America sat on her butt and did nothing. I have no more words for this right now. I’m heartsick.
I agree this is a great tragedy, but I am confused about the timing, because nearly the exact message, the very wording, appeared back in February, on the 23rd, here:

So why is this being presented as happening now?
Peace,
