Yeah he’s a lib, but he’s much more of an old-time Cold Warrior than the current crop of leftists, including Obama. Ping to Today show list.

Yet our version of the Castro regime gives him a tingle up his leg.

Matthews is more of an old-school Cold Warrior, and, dare I say it, a patriot. Sounds like Matthews knows MSNBC is going to flush his show and he's recruited this author Mark Finkelstein to carry the water.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Isn't he the one who complained about "The Hate" towards 0bama?

your being played. If prissy hates castro then he hates obambi, the clintoons and the rest of the democommy left. Or he might just be as stupid as he sounds. Answer me this what is the difference between the current democrat party, Stalin’s commies, Putin’s kleptocrocy, Mau’s commies, and the National Socialists. (ideas not actions)

No offense, but this guy is still a fat drunk white ASSHOLE who is also an opportunistic PHONY, to boot. He changed when MSNBC changed--he is a bad/horrible actor. If anyone has any doubt, go to youtube and search "Glen Beck / Chris Matthews /Real America"--you'll see Matthews before MSNBC became completely the propaganda tool of the left.
This is like givnig credit to Osama Bin Laden for rejecting public endorsement of homosexuality--big deal. The bad far outweighs the good. One out of 1000. I think Finkelstein need to meet a deadline, and had nothing--until this steaming dunp of a video landed on his lap...

Herds of liberals fled the Leftist onslaught and invaded our once fair lands, donning the mantle of ‘conservative’ without being one. Charles Krauthammer. Dennis Prager. Most who call themselves neoconservatives.
Others, like Chris Matthews, stayed put and occasionally will fight a rear guard action against the Leftist scourge. Good luck with that, Chris.

“This author” is me: governsleast = Finkelstein. I haven’t been recruited by Matthews. Just telling it as I see it. And yes, I do distinguish between old time Dem cold warriors like Matthews and the younger generation of leftists.

"connection"
That's a curious trait of many libs. They are utterly unable to see the results of what ceding more and more power to the state leads to.
And of course libs like Matthews are comfortably in the "one percent" but still rail against rich people. But they don't see themselves as wealthy. They think they're the same as average citizens. They want to have it both ways.

This thread puzzled me until I remembered that In the Castro regime the gays were deemed undesirables, and encouraged to leave their country.

What
is Hillary's position regarding Cuba? She would probably agree with Matthews that "the question is what can we do to improve relations for us and improve the life of the people in Cuba by opening the door or not."
In other words, patriotic?
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I assume there was a “but” after he said that?
