Abbott should call a special session as soon as we're out later this year, and include every single bill Strauss blocks as part of the agenda. Maybe then the Repubs will get pissed enough having to mess with that, and get rid of Straus as majority leader. Brilliant idea. I have no idea if the House parliamentary rules permit such a thing, but I'd sure welcome it if they do.
You just know that Abbott and Patrick aren't going to lay down and take Straus' shenanigans like Perry and Dewhurst did.
