A Kentucky judge blamed two parents for their young girl's "constant fear of black men" after an armed robbery she witnessed, local reports said.
The parents argued for a tougher sentence for the man convicted of busting into their Louisville home at gunpoint while their daughter watched "Spongebob Square Pants," according to the Courier-Journal.
Judge Olu Stevens blasted Jordan and Tommy Gray's victim impact statement at a court hearing in February and again recently in a Facebook post he later deleted.

That’s reality you nimrod! Common sense doesn’t seem to apply anymore. That the Judge would pander to the PC collectiveists rather than be concerned about the welfare of a child. It tells me he has poor judgment and should be wearing the robe of a judge.
When a man breaks into a home and terrorizes a child or a family, that vision and mental image of the thug, be he black, brown, white, or otherwise will be an indellible and uneraseable part of the memory for a lifetime. And a cause for concern and discomfort.
The judge needs some “sensitivity” training of the type liberals usually clamor for. He is an @ss.

I was asked to provide additional context to the article that ran in yesterday’s paper. One month ago I received a letter by mail demanding that I publicly apologize for the Facebook post at issue. When I wrote a letter back indicating I would not apologize because, among other things, my comments were being misconstrued, he contacted the Courier Journal. Yesterday’s article and its aftermath are the culmination of his efforts.

Huh? The girl was in the house during a violent home invasion. The thug was armed, and the girl's life was in danger. So she's a bit more than just a witness, IMO.
