Heres a quick question for you: Have you ever once in your life heard of a state designating a day of the year as Christian Recognition Day, Buddhist Recognition Day, Hindu Recognition Day or Jewish Recognition Day?
Earlier this week, Iowa state Gov. Terry Branstad signed a proclamation designating Wednesday, April 8, 2015, as Muslim Recognition Day.
The proclamation reportedly also recognizes the many individuals and families of Muslim faith who make this state their home and willingly share their rich tradition and culture with other Iowans.
Apparently, the governor has been signing an Iowa Muslim Day proclamation for a number of years. However, this year was special, because it was the second year in a row that local Muslims werepermitted to hold a public event at the Statehouse designed to combat Islamophobia.

Wow
Will state employees get the day off?
What absolute camel sh1t.
Start reloading and buy up every bit of ammo you can get your hands on...
Will there be celebrations of Beheadings or Female Genital Mutilations?
This is so wrong. If anything, it should be 'Muslims slaughter Christians and Jews' recognition day.

Islamic Center of Cedar Rapids Promotes Global Islamic State
If you need proof that radical Islam is spread across the country, look no further than Iowas Islamic Center of Cedar Rapids, whose extremism is plain for all to see online. One of its most notable attendees is Bill Aossey, a Muslim Youth Camps of America (MYCA) official and president of Midamar Corporation, a leading supplier of Halal foods that was given a loan guarantee of $1.75 million as part of the stimulus package. On August 13, 2010, Aossey sat at President Obamas table in the White House to enjoy an Iftar meal....The ICCRs website happily tells the story of how Muslims from across the world came to America from all sorts of backgrounds in the early 1950s. It mentions moderate groups like the Muslim Brotherhood affiliate in Kuwait named Islah; the Jamaat-e-Islami of Pakistan and the Muslim Brotherhood of Sudan. The website praises how radical groups banned in many Muslim countries like Jihad (presumably the Egyptian Islamic Jihad), Takfir al-Hijra (an Al-Qaeda affiliate) and Hezbollah were able to come to the U.S. In the past, the website linked to Al-Haramain, a Saudi charity that fundraised for Al-Qaeda.....Here they are able to forge links with students of other nations providing the nucleus for an international network of leaders committed to the creation of an Islamic state, or an Islamic world order, the ICCR website states.

The governor signed the proclamation, but who came up with the idea, and pushed it?
After the camel races, there will be car bomb demonstrations and IED workshops.
pbuh.
That stint as president of Des Moines University sure did a heap of damage to Branstad.
Reminds me of why I am no longer a member of the stupid party (GOP).
People in Iowa are smoking too much corn
some people keep saying we have to “defend the rights of moslims” because if we don’t “defend the rights of moslems” then “they” will come for Christians next. As you can see, that peculiar attitude doesn’t work. It only gives evil people more rights, and decent americans less rights.
Damn good story Lucy T. FReepers, check it out! (Other than the author’s math being fuzzy: Tomahawk Cruise Missiles do not cost $100,000,000, (One Hundred Million), dollars EACH. (More like 1.5 million each). If we don’t start paying better attention it is gonna be game over very quickly. The muslims are staging all across America waiting for the for their ‘call’ to act.
There are only 365 days in a year...So many races, religions ,genders....Looking forward to Dallas59 day.
Thanks for the link. Interesting video too.
