Considering the ratio- it is VERY rarely that bad cops do these kinds of things compared to how much good they do- sadly though it’s mostly just the bad incidents that get reported and make it seem like the whole conglomerate of police are corrupt and racist thanks to the msm who love to tear down by glomming onto soemthign bad while ignoring the tons of good done-
Yes, sometimes bad things happen, and these should be dealt with on an individual basis, but this is NOT the aim of the msm- they are trying to tear down the whole force across the nation- the stir up racism, and fuel the fire until communities erupt into riots, and many people and communities get hurt- but the msm just keeps right on making it out to look like police are nothing but racist murderers- even when the evidence proves otherwise, as in the case of fuergeson and florida.
That’s my take on it as well.
You know, I see a lot of folks shooting off their mouths here who have never known a police officer personally, haven’t had a family member in a force, and haven’t done any rid-alongs themselves.
This people harken back to 1970s and the Hippies that called Police Pigs and anything else they could come up with on the spur of the moment. You won’t find me joining that ilk.
Yes officer are human. Yes they make mistakes. Sometimes they lose their tempers. Sometimes they operate with forethought in a criminal manner.
There are also over seven hundred thousand police officers out there who take a verbal beating day in and day out. They go to home to help resolve issues, and often find themselves under attack from both parties, even though one desperately called for help.
We don’t know how many times these people are accosted without incident. What we know about is that Leftist anarchists find it entertaining to slam officers every chance they get. I’ve had folks tell me they thought every officer was evil, and others have told me they don’t think there should even be such a thing as police. They think neighborhoods should enforce the law without the police.
It takes all kinds. It’s amazing where some people who think they are Conservative line up on these matters.
Abby Hoffman, Jane Fonda, Angela Davis, Huey Newton, and a whole host of other well-knowns from the 60s and 70s agree were their mentors. It’s just that they are oblivious to this fact.
