The question is what Cheney (who has friends and supporters in the intelligence and military establishments) plans to DO about the situation. Someone needs to lead the charge and Cheney would be a good one to do it.
Cheney would do it well. I hope something is in the works.
If Cheney set up a provisional government with the goal of restoring the Constitution and holding a real election (no illegals or ACORN votes allowed, all candidates vetted for eligibility), my guess is that 60% of the states and most of the armed forces would have his back.
