Notice how the two women doing gardening were afraid to give straight answers. The older one told the younger to not speak (although they both knew Russian TV is lying).
Russian controlled areas are going straight back to the old “when in prison you howl with the wolves” and the unlucky people recognize they are in prison now.
Speaking of “howling,” do you remember the story a week or so back that polling showed the majority of these residents want to stay with Russia? Answering “yes” sure tops being dragged out of your home and being beaten on the street.
I know this under duress state very well. Phone poll in North Korea will have 99.9999% say that the new Kim is the son of God. You’ll also have certain people in the USA quoting this poll as their argument and ignoring the relevant circumstances.
If they want to be in Russia, they need to move to Russia. Otherwise, we may as well give SoCal to Mexico.
That’s EXACTLY what I used to tell the pro-Putin nuts here at FR. It did no good. They refused to see the obvious.
To add something about topic of Crimea. Nationalization of businesses goes on full steam there. Russian forces raised a gangster to power and gave him a blank check in what he can confiscate from people. Of course people are afraid of being put in certain lists.
Gangsters in charge have gone into excesses of confiscating a $40 million movie studio from *Russian citizens living in Russia*. I am not saying this wrong is less wrong than others. I am saying it describes the frenzy that goes on there. If this is happening then you can imagine how defenseless a native Crimean Tatar is.
...”Gangsters in charge have gone into excesses of confiscating a $40 million “....
Sounds like Obama’s Washington doesn’t it!
You Soviets are masters at it.
Just when I think, “Surely this person has reached and encapsulates the limits of Internet tedium” you go and push the boundary even further. How about putting that into proper syntax, form, and grammar so that I can at least understand what you are saying before I dismiss it?
You read like a gimpzoid teenager splashing spit onto the monitor. Dont you ever have a point beyond giving your fingers some exercise by dancing them randomly over the keyboard? You wouldn’t know Up from Down if you had three guesses. Anyway, who was talking to you or even taking you under consideration? As Robert Wilensky said: “We’ve all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.”
You are a bore, and a very dull one at that. You are validating my inherent mistrust of strangers. Maybe you wouldn’t read like such a pathetic loser if you had enough brains to find water after falling down a well; if your weren’t so grossly fat that you have to put your belt on with a boomerang, or if you didn’t have a face that would give Freddie Kruger nightmares. No, come to think of it, you would.
You’re a message board freak. I know it’s hard to accept the truth, but the truth it is, and accept it, you must.
U MAD BRO?
I see the FRussians have arrived.
Yep. They know something bad is going to happen if they speak up.

Do you have that in Cyrillic?
Landmines are killing a lot of people over there too.
The article starts off...
...”Information war has been a huge part of the Ukraine conflict, with both sides accusing the other of manipulating the media”.....
I haven’t seen a single conflict that they all don’t do this...not one... including the citizens. But it’s disturbing when they use kids bodies or stories of kids as something it’s not. That goes beyond propaganda.
