Making the point is rational. I’ll give him that, so I agree with you.

Here’s the kicker for me.

Iran agrees to stop it’s nuclear bomb program, allow full inspections and comply with U. S. and Western demands. It still refuses to recognize Israel.

The deal is thus thwarted.

Is that a situation we would like to see?

As much as I support Israel, that wouldn’t be serving it’s best interests.

I realize Iran is not going to comply with any of this, so the point is mute. Still, on point I disagree with the linkage. I just want Iran to be prevented from developing the bomb.

Iran will never agree to stop its nuclear weapons program. The point was to show Obama’s true colors for those who are still blind.

Iran has plenty of chemical and biological warheads it could deploy. So Israel requires recognition now, even before the nukes are manufactured. Going nuclear however would be the last straw.
