a lot less clogging of the ER's with collateral damage and the target will prolly be down for the count/won't need to go either

This is just the logical next step to the ever popular Knockout Game.

That slowed down when the targets started arming themselves and going to condition yellow. This level now puts some parity to the playing field. Don't know how successful it's going to be, 'cuz bangers like overwhelming odds in their favor. So they'll probably change their target victim from spry white males to little-old-lady-with-blue-hair females. If they stay in the big northeastern cities, they should be fairly safe still. If they venture down south or far west, where little old ladies grew up knowing how to kill rattle snakes in the back yard near the kids, they may be in deep poo-poo again.

Natural evolution of he knock-out “game”. Killers can’t take a back seat to pummelers....

The eyes are the window to the soul. This practice is evil. Cold and heartless.

The emphasis on this report is the Latin gangs doing this: the cult of manliness which directs you get to watch your victim's eyes as they die. How long before other gangs - such as the Crips, the Bloods, MS-13, the Latin Kings - pick up this tactic as well?

That's awfully durn close. While these are animals that have about as much empathy in watching a human die as they do in watching Wily Coyote walk off a cartoon cliff, it's still going to require them to get very close to a victim that possibly knows his life is slipping away. I can only hope that in those final moments a sheep bleeding out will turn wolf or sheepdog for just the split moment to do some serious damage in whatever area they can manage. It wouldn't take very many such to discourage the practice. Ya think?
