At first, I wasn’t sure whether he was evil - or just plain stupid. And then another longtime poster here said that “sometimes evil and stupid are the same thing.”
I think Bergoglio is having a disastrous effect on the Church and he’s selling out to the world and its praise. He’s also demoralizing the clergy and the bishops (except for the elderly leftist in-crowd), making the laity fearful and uncertain, and empowering the enemies of the Faith.
I no longer care whether he means to do so or not, because the effect is the same. I realize that he’s the titular Pope, but that can always change...

More importantly, how many times will we hear this — “He actually meant ‘this’ instead of what you think he meant”.
