AKRON, Ohio -- FirstMerit Bank is suing Coming Attractions Bridal and Formal, the store where Ebola survivor Amber Vinson infamously shopped in October 2014, to force repayment of a loan.
The bridal store owes $34,469.98 on a $100,000 loan it took out in 2010, according to the FirstMerit suit filed Thursday in Summit County Court of Common Pleas. The bank closed the store's line of credit less than two months after store co-owner Anna Younker announced in January that she would close the business.
Younker's blamed the publicity that followed Vinson's visit to the store for a fatal downturn in business.
"Nobody wants to buy a dress at the Ebola shop," Younker said in December.

Yeah....that title sucks.
.....”The bridal store owes $34,469.98 on a $100,000 loan it took out in 2010,”.....
They could have moved the store and reopened under another name....instead they closed it altogether. Maybe should have gone to the bank sooner. After all it is still a loan they took out and the money is owed if they spent it.
I’d rather visit a store an Ebola survivor went to than a store an active AIDS patient went to.

The devil is in the details .. er .. the details are in the article.
I read it...but it doesn’t give enough details to understand why the bank determined to file against them....generally done when payments are not met...but in this case closing a business is certainly a red light from a banks perspective.
Why?!
Wait, the place sells tack for horses AND wedding dresses?
That's not so strange. Back home there was a combination vet and taxidermist.
He used the slogan "Either way you get your dog back"
Don’t think I’d like to meet the brides who shopped there....
I would like to see their showroom. It would have to be interesting.
Is this where you ride horses with Ebola???
Some DO consider marriage wearing a bridle...!

It’s more like being a gelding.
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Thanks for the ping!
Youre Welcome, Alamo-Girl!
Someone who is cured of Ebola has no risk.
Someone with AIDS can smear blood or bodily fluid on you and cause you to get AIDS.
