This is exactly what you get when you have a volunteer military. Like North Korea and others when the sh** hits the fan the military goes with their pay masters and food supply.

I have travelled throughout every state in the lower 48. If you drive an hour out of every big city, there is such distance between communities, and so few police/army, that it would be impossible to control them.

And plenty of room for snipers.

I really wish you wouldn't say things like this. It's too much like "that can't happen here". It's not a good sign when people think this way.

Not that part of me doesn't think that way too...but lately there's another part that's been, shall we say, awakened.

Alex Jones as a source? I take his Infowars to be as accurate, reliable and reputable as Coast to Coast AM and almost as reputable as The National Enquirer, though more so than the NYT or PMSNBC.

“Navy Seals”

Here’s the tell on this BS exercise. Navy SEAL’s train for very narrow very focused ops. They have a specific target, a specific plan and a specific exit. They don’t run around in the desert and/or metro areas for 8 weeks at a time during generalzed urban drills. This is ridiculous on its face.

This Jade helm or whatever is for the martial law and takeover of America and probably coming for the guns. So LOL grunts. If you got em smoke em.

What do insurgents, fishermen and snipers all have in common?

Seemingly infinite patience.

I think 2015 is going to be a big tell. I know everyone is already talking about the next election, but we are not there yet.

When I see MRAPS, militarization of local law enforcement, increased gubbamint surveillance of Internet, credit card data, phone records, ALPR tracking of motorist and dramatic increase in swat raids by all federal agencies to include dept. of education...it causes me concern.

Then add urban military training, government purchasing billions or rounds of ammo, operation choke point, fast and furious which until botched was to be an effort to shutdown American gun shops, what are we to make of all this?

If were a this or a that...chalk it up to war on terror. All of these things combined, seems there is an nefarious agenda.

I don't trust the gubbamint. They are too powerful, too aggressive, too intrusive, too large in size and scope.

The ferals control everything. From light bulbs to washing machines, from cattle grazing to water rights, cars we drive to home schooling, school lunches to medical care.

This is not the America our founding fathers intended.

I don't blame anyone for being alarmed.

Rather than fight the troops, it will be better to deal with the ones who send them.

They’re supposed to be in my area this summer. I guess the city council was happy about how much money they were told would be spent on food and supplies.

Unless it’s a big civilian army like Obama was talking about.

I do. About 70 per cent of the military expressed preference for Ron Paul or Romney in the last election. A few kiss ass, ticket punching, military officers are on their knees for Obama, but the military mostly hate his guts. If they turned on American citizens, they would be shooting the statists.

I am a military brat and third generation former paratrooper in the 82d Airborne Division. I don’t much anymore, but I used to regularly correspond with friends in special ops from three branches of the military. If anything, the leftists are trying to shake us up to make us back off using OUR military. The military isn’t the IRS. What Obama would do, being an Alinskyite, is try to divide the military, but the NCO corps especially would not allow that.
