The explosion of hatred and threats against a family owned Indiana pizza restaurant who said they wouldn't cater a gay wedding have forced them to go into hiding and they may leave town permanently. A northern Indiana pizza shop that came under fire after its owners said their religious beliefs wouldn't allow them to cater a gay wedding is closed indefinitely, and its operators say they've gone into hiding. Memories Pizza in Walkerton faced criticism this week after co-owner Crystal O'Connor expressed support for a new Indiana religious objections law. The Facebook and Yelp pages for the restaurant about 20 miles southwest of South Bend were bombarded with negative reviews. A coach of a high school golf program was suspended after a Twitter post that mentioned going to Walkerton and burning down the restaurant. WNDU-TV reports that O'Connor and her family are considering leaving town.

I wouldn’t back down to anyone, least of all to a bunch of nasty, screaming anti- Christ fagots. I think for them to close their pizza restaurant would be a mistake. That’s like giving in to terrorists.
They now have enough money to hire security to deal with any gaystapo that are foolish enough to try and destroy their restaurant . Plus I think their business will boom from conservatives from far and near who will turn up to patronize their business.
Yes, perhaps the owners would have been better off, but God may be using this incident to show what the followers of Satan are really like.
Did anyone need that lesson?
Another honest answer would be, "We've never done any wedding catering."
But that wasn’t the question.
FAGGIES RULE!!!
Sorry, but that’s the way it now is. God help us.
This reminds me of a Civil Rights demonstration years ago in which blacks protested something, and whites just watched.
The NEWS MEDIA worked the crowds of watchers, trying to get a recorded response of anger from them. Anything would do! Even a clinched fist at the side would do!
They got nothing.
In this case a news chick went into a small town, trolled the area for a response, any response, and finally got one AND RAN WITH IT!
For?
Hindsight is 20/20. But, perhaps this incident will be a cautionary tale for others.
This story reminded me of the Biblical story where the HO<OSEXUALS banged on the door to get the men to come out to have sex with, and the man of the house (can’t remember who it was) OFFERED HIS DAUGHTERS UP TO THEM!!!! OMG....EVIL.
They’ve made death threats. Lie Sharpton ginning up an angry mob, murder is only a step away.
What was the question? Was that on the news clip?
I suspect that it may then be only a matter of time until they “go Ferguson”
Why don't they just quote a price (in this case, for a 50 pizza catering job) of say...$5,000. Nobody will accept that price. And even if they did, then subcontract out the job to a non-religious pizza shop.
LGBT = ISIS
Yeh. Just laugh it off. Then, they spoke out, because they were foolish enough to think that good citizens still have a right to participate in the public discourse. Then the gay brown shirts threatened to burn down their business. That’s what they deserve for speaking up. Right? No. That’s what the first amendment is for.
Sane people know what actually happened at Ferguson. What they don't understand is how the left wing can be so ignorant about it.
The left did not win anything from Ferguson. The democrats have lost control of their crazies. They can't control their rabid and vile base. Because of that, our patience will pay off.
the so called “progressives” opened pandora’s box...and pandora has biten them rather severely!!!
Oh I'm not laughing it off. I can't imagine what it's like to be going what they're going through.
No. Thats what the first amendment is for.
The First Amendment protects us from government restrictions on our speech so this is not a First Amendment issue. Ms. O'Connell was free to say what she said. Unfortunately other people objecting to what we said are free to do the same, even in the unpleasant and hate-filled manner that they've been using.
