FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Federal authorities say California's $68 billion higher-speed rail could harm the protected kit fox.

This is indeed a welcome sight but you just know this fox issue will made to go away by the eco-knob left like the others we know, such as having their courts overturn the will of the voters, etc., when it suits their interests. I do, however, have popcorn and libations at hand if the issue is pressed, and will root for it to be so argued by them! ;)
I like it. This should be the face of Conservative Environmentalism. Beats the pants off of the lazy panda.
Ah, speak for yourself, miss........
Further, desalination would mitigate the effects of
the rising ocean levels we are creating with all the
melting of the polar ice caps which is caused by us
nasty humans. SAVE PISMO BEACH!
I inhabit California and I am an adult pretty much the
same as the gentleman who operates FR. But like Mr Robinson
I do not govern this state, unfortunately.
Does Dianne Feinstein’s husband have a way to make money off of THIS, too?
And, I like your thinking. I want the bumper sticker and
the tee shirt. I don’t know a kit fox from any other type
of fox. But, in the past 10 years I have seen more foxes
in California than I had in the previous 30 years.
How unexpected.
Look at the bright side, when this thing is finished you’ll be able to get from Visalia to Bakersfield in like 9 minutes.
Money thats going to be used to support the illegals
Good. This project will be just another financial boondoggle, akin to Amtrak which is still not self-supporting. We’re still paying to subsidize Amtrak!
We tax payers do not need yet another bottomless pit we are forced to pay for.
Willie is still pushing trains on Liberty’s Flame, among other issues. He seems to be on the wrong side of every issue.
My kids live within the bounds of a large NC city. The neighborhood is sort of a wooded enclave surrounded by city stuff.
Somehow a beautiful vixen red fox mad her way into the continuously wooded back yards and raised her three kits. They looked like that photo
Ha, ha!
That’s just it. I don’t see a big advantage in getting
from Visalia to Bakersfield in 9 minutes. Make it Madera
to Wasco and you might have something.
You are in the minority. I'm a third generation Californian, but I had to leave over 20 years ago.
If you are third generation then you should understand
as I (a fourth generation Californian) that the problem
originated from outside of the state boundaries and
we are not all of like mind or mentality.
Dems have a way of “pushing” environmental concerns out of the way for their pet projects...they’ll get their way here too.
Shredding birds via “big wind” doesn’t seem like much of an issue for the MSM does it?
If nothing else, it will provide work many, many attorneys.
All taxpayer funded.
