ATLANTA (AP) — An Atlanta area teenager who said a heart transplant two years ago gave him a second chance at life died this week when he lost control of the car he was driving while fleeing police, according to police records.
Anthony Tremayne Stokes, 17, died Tuesday when the car he was driving hit a bank sign, a Roswell police officer wrote in an incident report. The officer noticed the black Honda Accord fit the description of a vehicle involved in a home invasion a short time earlier, the report says. The officer tried to pull the car over, but the driver refused to stop, the report said.
The car had also been reported stolen in a carjacking in nearby Dunwoody earlier Tuesday, the report says.
In August 2013, local news media quoted Stokes' family as saying that doctors at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston refused to put Stokes on a transplant waiting list because of his troubled past and their belief he wouldn't comply with the strict plan for medication and follow-up treatment.

Countdown till the news stories start about ‘troubled past’, ‘planning to work on his PHD next year’, ‘was planning to start a new life next week’ etc, etc.
In reality, at least no more crimes and no more tax payer money WASTED.

Yes another example.of.political correctness in our culture.
In this case, the story was that he was a troubled youth, and he had been rejected for transplant surgery, due to not following doctors orders, not taking meds as prescribed, etc. He was seen as being a poor candidate for transplant surgery based on the way his life and attitude was.
But an outcry arose, and probably charges of racism.
So he got this surgery, which I’m sure we all paid for, so he could have a life of crime.
Crazy world we live in.
Sorry little punk stole someone’s life by taking that heart and abusing the gift.
I suppose it’s too late now to give the heart to someone else. He used it up.
I’m sure he sent this picture with his application to Harvard.

Should read “Teen Who Wasted Second Chance Almost Kills Innocent Pedestrian Before Dying In Crash While Evading Police In A Stolen Car”. That Could be shortened to “Waste of Life Wastes Life”.

Looks like this kid really put his heart into his work.
