JNS.org Twenty-six US citizens filed a lawsuit on Tuesday in the Department of Justice asking for compensation from the Hamas terrorist group for firing rockets at Israels Ben Gurion Airport while the plaintiffs were waiting to board flights during last summers Gaza war.
According to US. law, a person who wages an attack against an international airport in a way that impacts an American citizen could be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The Israel-based law center Shurat HaDin is leading the lawsuit against several Hamas leaders, including Khaled Mashaal.
Hamass attack on Ben Gurion International Airport was a threat on the lives of American citizens that were at the airport at the time, and therefore the US Attorney General has authority to put on trial those who threatened American citizens in this way, Shurat HaDin head Nitsana Darshan-Leitner told Israel National News last month.
The landing of a Hamas rocket near Ben Gurion Airport during last summers war also resulted in a 36-hour Federal Aviation Administration ban on American carriers flights to Israel.

Never heard of that law. Wonder who Hamas will hire to defend them. Guess their friends will find someone. Holders former firm defended terrorists, maybe they can help.
The money for the rockets came from
US taxpayers through Lerner.
... but withHolder elected to cover it up.
(Obstruction of Justice).
In response, the US Congress .... fell asleep and hid.
And holder will take up their case when? In rational times maybe, but under this regime...
SMART MOVE. The intent is not to get money from the terrorists, but rather INTERCEPT US money bound for them. All they need is a US judge to win the case.
Intercepting US funds is problematical, there are several judgements outstanding against the PLO and I believe the palestinian authority. They get their aid, the judgements go unsatisfied.
You could be right, but federal judges do have a lot of power - maybe one of them will use it!
Possible, that large verdict a few weeks ago could present an opportunity.
Thanks, appreciate it.
Good... someone needs to sue Hamas out of existence.
No, the correct response is to identify the shooters, obtain actionable intell and send in a delta team to eliminate such terrorists wherever they are....
