Not to throw ideas out there, but how long before big business or the NFL tells a Governor you will not sign that gun bill.
Carrying a weapon with no training? I know most people would have no problem with that because they’ve been firing guns since they were kids but I can see the leftists making a fuss over that and their claims might be well founded if a bad accident like the 9 yr old with the UZI which was just asking for it. Very stupid idea. Instead of building her confidence he scarred her for life. Common sense has to ocme into the equation. I think they should at least be required to take a firearms proficiency test or course with exceptions for former soldiers and LEOs...IMO of course

What an exceptionally ill informed statement. The new law isn’t Obamacare. The law allows people to make a choice. it doesn’t mandate every stupid person to go and spend their hard earned dollars on guns and ammunition. Guns and ammo are not inconsequential in cost or commitment. It’s not like buying a candy bar. You like the left are fussing over control not firearms.
Bad accidents include cars, bathtubs, household chemicals, swing sets, corded blinds, swimming pools and organized sports. All of which kill far more people annually than firearms, but only those indoctrinated by leftards focus on firearms

I carry a firearm. Have for years. I know what happens when you give free license to conceal carry to prople who have no prior training or experience. You got to remmber the law will allow everyone to CC including lefties who don’t always obey the law. I’ve also seen the accidents and most were by untrained lefties. I don’t want lefties staging false flag events to try to steer the public away from private ownership. The training doesn’t have to create a log to track the people. They could just have the firearms instructor sign them.

You’re misreading my intent. I am playing devil’s advocate with the looney leftists who will use the lack of firearm training as a tool against the right if some shootings occur in that state (most likely staged by the left) who will say you just let anyone carry a weapon even without having any training whatsoever. You know how they think.

I have an NRA Life Member on the back of my Mazda. A radical leftist where I used to work objected. I asked her which organization kills more children every year Planed Parenthood or the the National Rifle Association?
