I once held a position, long ago now, during which time someone did not identify as a newsperson. I’ve not talked to a newsperson since. And won’t. Suggest doing it to every last one of them.
I was once interviewed by the WSJ. Even had a corporate info person on the line with me. Didn't help. They twisted the interview as they had an agenda in mind and only used selected statements to back up their premise.
Never did another interview with a purported journalist.
