Tim Cook: Pro-discrimination ‘religious freedom’ laws are dangerous
Washington Post ^ | March 29, 2015 | Tim Cook

There’s something very dangerous happening in states across the country.

A wave of legislation, introduced in more than two dozen states, would allow people to discriminate against their neighbors. Some, such as the bill enacted in Indiana last week that drew a national outcry and one passed in Arkansas, say individuals can cite their personal religious beliefs to refuse service to a customer or resist a state nondiscrimination law.

The thing is, the overwhelming majority of the “Bob’s” out there don’t care if homosexuals merely come in and by their “pizza” - they don’t “refuse to serve” them at all - they do not, however, want to be told they have to attend ceremonies for something like a same-sex ‘wedding’ if they do catering and have to physically be there participating in the event. They are not harassing or discriminating against anyone - they simply say “I don’t feel comfortable participating in that event. Sorry.” - to the liberals, that’s harassment / discrimination. However, targeting such business owners because of who they are - going after their personal assets and means of earning a living to try to destroy their entire lives (witness what is happening to florists / caterers, etc. in some other states), that’s not harassment or discrimination. That’s liberal logic - overwhelmingly stupid, overwhelmingly dishonest.

If religious person can be force to support what he believes is evil in the eyes of God, then there is NO religious freedom. Apple’s argument is that their CEO’s personal whims take precedent over anyone’s religious beliefs.

The First Amendment was supposed to prevent this from being an issue, but corrupt courts (and the Civil Rights Act) rejected the First Amendment as meaning anything other than “You must oppose any public religious expression”.

Dangerous like a rabid pit bull or dangerous like a baby that you think might grow up one day to be a mass murderer if they aren’t breast fed?

These people want it both ways. Tolerance for me, but not for thee. This is a fight we shouldn’t back down on.

So I'm guessing that if Mr Cook's business was shut down via a law suit over his deeply held beliefs he might view things differently.

But probably not because as a liberal he sees no benefit in trying to understand people w/ different opinions.

Liberalism is a mental disease.....they are totally irrational.

They are imposing irrationality on our children (snow is black) to destroy all natural instincts so they can remove Natural Law Theory (science/Truth/God) from our Constitution. Ignorant children grow up to be ignorant, irrational adults, who are easily controlled and managed and killed.

That is their aim-—to destroy our Constitution and kill the idea of God-Given Rights in children, so the State is god.

Tim Cook is a useful idiot—he believes he is god, and he can dictate Good and Evil, and he will rule once the Leftists get total control of all ideas our children are allowed to have.

He will be one of the first ones killed in the NWO; he doesn’t understand the nature of Communism and the pure evil and wickedness of man without God. He just believes he will create a utopia on earth-—which is completely insanity.

Freedom has always been a danger to those who have agendas.

Liberialism is a mental disease but then so is homosexuality, no wonder they travel hand in hand.
