He’s leaving to help his party regain control of the Senate by placing them another Senator further away from that objective? Certainly won’t miss him, or his lies.
why does being out of office protect him? he still committed the crimes?

His coming prosecution may be true but it doesn’t explain why he is dropping out.
Any Republican Attorney General that doesn’t run through DC like a crazy man with a meat cleaver, and fill caravans of prison buses with corrupt politicians, just isn’t worth his or her pay.
Harry Reid is just one of many crooks on both sides of the aisle that need to be taken down and brought to justice.

Please give me an example in history when republicans have gone after dems when they win elections??? No offense, but it’s just not going to happen. I am still waiting for the indictment of Governor Jon Corzine. Did he not “steal” a BILLION dollars from his investors? That’s OK in the dems and Eric Holders law book?
If I had an injury like that and got possibly blinded in one eye, I would being suing the equipment manufacturer and the store from which it was purchased.
Especially if I was a US Senator (you know I would win for that reason alone)
