Bill Maher made politically correct liberals the subject of his show-ending new rule tonight, as hes done before, mocking how worked up everyone got about comments from Dolce and Gabbana about synthetic babies. Maher said hes getting tired of the liberal outrage machine and asked, What is the point of attacking people who are 95 percent on your side?
Maher said just like conservatives, liberals have crazies of their own they need to rein in. He brought up the controversy over the Economist cover on Latinos and how Media Matters covered it. The liberal media watchdog called it a tired trope often used to confine the Hispanic community to oversimplified representation in the media.
Maher reacted by telling Media Matters to shut the [snip] up.
He remarked, How deeply stupid has the far-left become, and said liberals just need to stop freaking out about every single little thing that doesnt 100 percent conform to their worldview.
[snip]
He looks like a drinker.
What is the point of attacking people who are 95 percent on your side?
A good question for ant political movement.
Stupid ripping stupid. Ignorant ripping ignorant. Love it.
Mahrer is vile.
Maher must be getting tired of his gig. He’s deviating from the script.
yep...
If I looked like that ugly little troll, I'd drink too.
Most of the time Maher is smarmy and vulgar. But then he starts talking about islam. Then the man is amazing in his clarity and his honesty. He pulls no punches, and doesn't just blame those few who are "perverting islam".
If you haven't seen him talk about islam yet, do a Youtube search. What he says is actually quite bold, and I respect him for that.
Maher is about to offend the Gaystapo...the homo fascists who dictate to liberals and control the narrative. Nobody must offend these superior beings for whom everybody must bow. Dont bend over too far though.
In the 90s he was fair. During Bush, than Obama he was way off in the netherworld. He seems to be inching back to being fair on several fronts. I think he’s concluded the left has lost any moral argument they may have with their whitewash of Islam and their new culture of constant faux outrage.
When he isn’t being batshit crazy liberal about 99%
of the time he can have some good moments. Somebody
wake me up when Maher has something to say about the
12 things you can’t say about Hillary Clitton.
Five minutes of watching him is too much. A grade ‘A’ a$$hole.
I don’t think he was ever fair, but he understands that some on the left expect 100% loyalty. Anything you say that does not follow the script and they are all over you. Bill has an independent streak and doesn’t like being told he can’t disagree.
“What is the point of attacking people who are 95 percent on your side?
A good question for any political movement.”
Unfortunately, that also applies to quite a few on this site.
There is a cottage industry for the “offended.” Their work is to find offense. They turn over every rock and check every crack to find offense. If they were panning for gold, they would do better with less effort. However, they choose to make life miserable to everyone around them. Even then, some might strike it rich, which encourages more to join the “gold rush.” I ask, what kind of person seeks to line their pockets at the expense of a poor victim’s pocket book. Since they have chose this kind of occupation, they have sunk to the level of parasites. And, if they want to be parents, what kind of example is this?
Every time Maher drifts to the right I get the feeling Coulter bedded him the night before.
Are you sure he wasn’t talking about Conservatism?
My favorite version of Bill Maher is in “Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death.” That was before I knew how much of a raving lib he was.
