He was facing a potential medical examination that could have seen his pilot’s licence removed and it is thought he may have feared mental or other health problems would bring an end to his dream.
Former BA pilot Alastair Rosenschein said pilots of Lubitz’s age face regular medicals as well as simulator tests and can be grounded if they fail to pass. He told MailOnline: ‘He may have known that his career was already over. He may have known that the end was in sight.’
Mr Rosenschein said that, in Britain, pilots under 40 face annual or bi-annual medicals and, as well as testing physical health, doctors often ask questions to assess pilots’ mental health.
He added: ‘However, it’s difficult to see how a doctor could foresee something like this. There are no rules that someone who is having marital or financial difficulties cannot fly, I think the best way these things are identified if another pilot comes in an effectively “shops” another, but pilot’s aren’t very good at doing that.’
Other possible explanations for Lubitz’s actions are that he may have stopped taking his medication so it would not be detected in any medical tests or slipped into desperation during a crisis in his relationship.
The investigation was yesterday focused on Lubitz’s medical history and mysterious personal life, which police believe hold the key to why a man given the trust of an airline and its passengers could effectively murder them.

His mysterious personal life just might have something to do with the male friend with whom he spent a recent vacation, in the US, I think it was. My gaydar went off.
In one of the articles I’ve read, he was already terminated and this was his last flight. If I can find it I’ll post that part.
Whatever the reason/s, I would think the people who’ve been looking at his personal effects know by now.

The co-pilot who flew a Germanwings plane into the Alps killing everyone on board had broken up with his fiancée just one day earlier, it is being reported.
Andreas Lubitz and his unnamed girlfriend had been together seven years and were due to marry sometime in 2016, according to French media.
But the day before the tragedy that cost the lives of Lubitz and 149 other people, the relationship was ended, the French TV channel ITélé claims.

Now-a-days that fiancé he planned to marry didn’t have to be a girl...who’s identity remains unknown.
We mustn’t discriminate against homosexuals, muslims, people of a higher melanin content...although the first are generally in seriously unstable relationships, the second are taught from birth that infidels (us)are useful only dead or as slaves, and the third blame the white race for all of their historical shortcomings and not their African chiefs who sold them to arab slavers in a heartbeat.

I read somewhere 39 Turkish. That is wrong. It was mostly Germans and Spanish with approx 2 each from more than 10 countries according to a CNN article I pulled up, "what we know so far" concerning passengers.

Our MSM record, corrupt pols and the lobbyists that control them have me convinced not to believe much anything I read, hear, or see on the media, unless I know the source and that they are not political.
I’m jaded to the point I don’t believe most of what is being reported. Doesn’t mean it is wrong. It just means that there are those who know how to manipulate and pull our chains and involve us in wars and actions that are costly to us, but not about us.
It very well could be true the co-pilot became a radical Muslim, but as we’ve seen the politicos have agendas running that are intended either to keep us in the dark or to incite us.
I’ll bookmark this until the next chapters are written.
I go back to Chapter 1 and believe the only reason this event happened is because the Germans failed to keep 2 people in the cabin at all times. Instead they allowed one individual to run the show and lock the door if that was a whim, a religious thing, or a way to get attention. He could have had or feigned a seizure or blackout. Those who allowed this co-pilot to remain alone behind locked cabin doors are most responsible in my opinion.
