You might not be far off.
First thought is Islamic terrorism. Perhaps something will be found out on his computer or phone records to prove this.
Another thought is unrequited love.
Sounds like standard procedure is to have a flight attendant go into the cockpit when the pilot leaves so the co-pilot can stay seated at the controls.
The FA can then open the cockpit door on the pilot’s return.
What if Lubitz killed the FA, and decided to crash the plane because of his crime. Maybe he had a thing for the FA and had been rejected—who knows.
The whole thing about him breathing steadily while pandemonium reigns outside the door shows a person who has decided upon a specific course of action.
The only question is why.
There is more than is being released right now.
It will come out eventually.
My thought in posting (that the action was a “country-song” suicide) hinges on the fact that the plane was clearly not directed toward an infidel suburb to eliminate as many non-muzz at the same time; not an ISIS/AlKIDA action).
This looks to me like a “depressive-state” suicide; and “I’ll take everyone with me!”
But, then-again, who am I? I ain’t no shrink and I certainly ain’t no DHS investigator.
An interesting twist might be that one aviator was locked out because he was schtupping the wife/girlfriend of the other? Juicy stuff, yes? Time will tell and, if the result is a “center fuel-tank spark”, well...you know that a Clinton was involved.
:-)
Check to see if he owned a gun!
This would provide additional ammunition for the gun control crowd!
The FA in the cockpit is a US proceedure, not required or used in Europe.
