Does anyone besides me find it incredible that NOT ONE PERSON tried to contact someone via cell phone during that decent? I mean, everyone on that plane no doubt had one with them, so why aren’t there family members who might have gotten texts or voicemails from their loved ones who knew they were about to die?

Very curious to me.

It wasn’t a rapid descent. 3,000 feet per minute, I believe. It would not have seemed unusual until the last minute or two.

That is odd.

I have thought about that. I'm not well versed in technology and the various devices - maybe they were out of cell range? When the plane hit - most everything was destroyed.

cell phones don’t work from the airplanes flying higher than 2000-3000ft.
