Did they ever release the pilots names? It seem that we know very little about them.

That’s true. I have not been able to find anything about the names or i.d. of the pilots. This is ridiculous, as all the other names have been released - 2 Australians dead, and the whole country knows who they are.
The only mention of the pilots states that the chief pilot had good experience and thousands of hours flying. Well, so one would expect but - who was he?

Right now Lufthansa won't release the names. The pilot was a 10 year employee. I have yet to read anything about the co-pilot.
