We’ve got to stop insisting upon a perfect conservative candidate. We’ve got to stop letting the news media manipulate us in this regard. Every man will have some flaws. But I don’t think we will find anybody as good as Cruz.

I don’t think anyone is insisting on a perfect candidate. This is not the news media—he sponsored an amendment to increase H-1B visas by 500%. That is a major flaw to some and it warrants investigation and discussion—this is the time for that exercise.

BTW, you may very well be right, and I am not saying it is a make-or-break issue, but for me personally, this is a big deal and I would like clarification. I went to his website and saw no place to ask questions and no one answered the phones, so I am asking here.
