What are you talking about? The Orient was, for thousands of years, the major other pole of world civilization. While Britons were engaged in human sacrifice and running around in animal skins, the Chinese were fighting combined arms wars with armies of hundreds of thousands, with logistical tails to match. Sun Tzu's Art of War was written 2500 years ago, a thousand years before English became a written language. The bureaucracies that run governments around the world today are based on the Chinese principle of meritocracy that government should be based on recruiting the most talented people available, based on a system of examinations. This replaced what had been a tradition of staffing the government with landed aristocrats. Please do not confuse your willful ignorance with reality.
As to the Christians in the Middle East, they are anti-semitic to a fault and identify more with their Arab Muslim counterparts than they do with the West. The Crusaders got a taste of Arab Christian perfidy when they invaded the region a millennium ago. These people signed up with Muhammad's conquering armies the first chance they got. At least Iraqi Sunnis are merely cooperating cooperating with co-religionists when they support ISIS. Arab Christians went over to the Muslim enemy - Muhammad himself.
Re Asian conflicts, I'm not Chinese, but if I were, I'd urge the US to stand aside as China doubles the size of the Chinese empire. And deep thinker that you are, you'd agree - let them kill each other off.
You’re starting to say weird things too.
I tend to think the Chinese did themselves a fair amount of genetic damage in the first half of the 20th century and that it has taken them awhile to recover. Just a theory...
Weird Chinese supremacist stuff about how superior China is.
Well, that's if you consider Old English as "English" :-P -- when you read Bede, it looks more like German to me, with all the declinations. I think we can only characterise English as being born from around the time of the Bard
