When is Harper due up?
The tentative election date is October 19, 2015. I say ‘tentative’ because the Prime Minister could call an election before that time.
Under the Canada Elections Act, a general election is held on the third Monday of October in the fourth calendar year after the last election day. The Governor General however, may call an election anytime prior to that on the ‘advice’ of the Prime Minister.
