The gloomsayers tell us that somehow all this warmth will dry up the world too. Seems to me that it would step up evaporation from the oceans. We’d have cloudier weather on average. And adequate rainfall. And with all the extra CO2, we have a greener world. It’s enough to ask the dinosaurs to return, almost.

One may hold whatever opinion they wish, however misinformed. It’s a free country.

The "Experts" have no clue as to what atually would, or would not, happen in the event of a significant climate change.
Their models don't work and their predictions have all been flops.
The only thing they do know with certainty is that their government money will dry up if they don't go along with the program.

“..all this warmth will dry up the world too.”
Cooling dries things up - more water locked up in the ice. I’m not sure if it was noticible during the “Little Ice Age” - I’m sure the colder temperatures were the main thing.
But, get ice shields a mile thick over Chicago, and that is a lot of trapped water. Most of the world would be cold and dry.

Well it seems strange that people should be complaining about greenhouse effects of human generated CO2 without expecting the benefits that can be had from a greenhouse.
Rise in sea levels could push civilization inland. It still beats being under a mile of glacier all hollow. Who says we are excused from the threat of climate change to the colder? If we could miraculously choke away all our CO2 that could be Gaia’s punch line.
