Thanks for posting the article, this matter has been discussed here in an indirect way, not with an article accompanying it though.

They have to turn somewhere, the rest of the world could care less what is happening in Nigeria.

From a Reuter's story

"The appearance of foreign private soldiers comes four months after Nigeria’s ambassador to the United States said Washington was not helping the struggle against Boko Haram, and had failed to share intelligence and sell Nigeria the weapons it needed."

Every single Islamist insurgency is either being ignored (as in this case or Libya) or being opposed with the absolute minimum amount of effort required to quell political complaints in the US.

Obama is working for the Islamists.

the arab countries may need to turn to SA mercenaries too to get rid of the IS since obama is strategically patiently waiting for IS to establish the caliphate

I say about bloody time. A few hundred SA mercenaries beat back another wacko insurgency in Sierra Leone. Dollar for dollar the best money Nigeria ever spent on defense.

The “journalist” concludes:

“Mercenaries are never a long-term solution, as they do not address the root causes of the crisis”

after previously noting that they:

“carried out relatively successful operations in Sierra Leone and Angola in the 1990s.”

Evidence to the contrary is has no effect on liberal posing.

Just like the Islamic state however, it looks like Boko Haram has had its initial big run against unprepared civilians, and opposition has built for a deliberate, organized counter-attack. Ground forces from four African nations, and some first world SF, and some world-class mercs.

Let the bodies hit the floor.

That’s the sort of thing they used to call on the USA for help

But they know they can’t trust Obama- who would send help to BH

Condi Ride once brilliantly said “The only thing the world would hate more than the USA in charge would be the USA NOT in charge”
