What has gone wrong with the U.S. government in the past month? Just about everything, from the fundamental to the ridiculous.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the United States to warn Congress about the dangers of a nuclear Iran. He spoke without the invitation of an irritated President Obama, who claimed that he did not even watch the address on television.
Obama declined to even meet with the Israeli prime minister, announcing that it would have been improper for him to have such a meeting so close to Netanyahu's re-election bid.
But if Obama was so concerned about not influencing the Israeli elections, why, according to some news accounts, is a Senate panel launching an investigation into whether Obama's State Department gave grant money to a nonprofit organization, the OneVoice Movement, that sought to unseat Netanyahu with the help of several former Obama campaign operatives?

Obama’s snub is what lead to Bibi’s victory. Bibi’s should call and thank Obama.
Well that proves that arrogant pos is not that smart as everyone thinks
Yup — just like Obama is the NRA’s and gun manufacturers’ best spokesperson! /no sarc, not even a little
Hanson is always a good read. There is so much corruption and incompetency in our government that it’s hard to write a focused article on all of it. But the upshot is that I no longer have any confidence in the government of the United States to do anything but perpetuate and extend its oppressive power over its citizens.
My personal opinion is 0bama is not keystone kops, but rather intentional and premeditated in his evil ways. VDH wants to give him the benefit of the doubt of better intentions but just being absent and incompetent.
0bama is also incompetent but it is always in failing at his otherwise malevolent pursuits.
VDH puts his name/face out there, unlike me (a faceless commenter on a blog), I don’t need to be as nice.
All Obama had was “I am NOT BUSH”.
It “worked” for two elections and the first few months into his presidency. Now everything blowing up in his face.
Too bad he couldn’t say it is all Bush’s fault, .... No, wait....
The past month? How about the last few decades?
