I just get the sense from Walker that if elected President we would all come to realize after about a year of his presidency that on every substantial issue... immigration, Barrycare, the national debt... he would be indistinguishable from Jeb Bush or John Boehner. I hope that wouldn’t be the case but I have to trust my instinct on this.
I thought (or rather, hoped) the same thing about Obama. I thought that once elected, the 'rat party bosses would explain that the "change" he was advocating would have to be accomplished slowly, and that he'd need to "learn how the game is played" inside the beltway. Unfortunately, he doubled down on everything, destroyed the USA and even decimated his own party as one after another, the 'rats were voted out of office. The "go along to get along" approach is only adopted by Republicrats.
I think your instincts are spot on. I have major reservations about Walker. I’m praying that when the debates happen, Cruz will finally get the attention he deserves.
Me too. ;(
