As far as police unions opposing body cameras, I don’t doubt it. For me it’s like red lite cams or urinalysis tests, if your not doing anything wrong you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
Why then do we have a Fourth Amendment? If you aren’t doing anything wrong, then why are you worried about the police coming and searching your home? That whole “if your not doing anything wrong you shouldn’t have anything to worry about” line is dangerous.

No! Monitoring government agents at work is not the same as monitoring citizens. Police body cams are to monitor government agents, whereas government-ordered pee tests and surveillance are examples of government monitoring citizens.
