I did basic in San Antonio in 1968 in an old WWII barracks. It was probably cleaner than the newer ones. Everything spotless.
Indeed but as a former "military man" I spent a fair amount of time wishing for the relative comfort of the barracks.
The ungrateful moose in the white hut has been pampered all her worthless life and most of it at tax payer expense.
