Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker made another massive misstep on Monday, hiring Liz Mair of Mair Strategies to handle communications and social media for his campaign-in-waiting.
Mairs support for amnesty for illegal aliens, wide-open-borders immigration policies, and public advocacy for the Senate Gang of Eight amnesty bill is sure to dog Walker in Iowa, South Carolina, and other early presidential states.
During the Senate Gang of Eight bill fight, Mair very publicly and very aggressively promoted the amnesty billpushing it to media and making the case for the need for it over and over again. She claims her advocacy was done out of the good of her heart, for free, because for religious reasons she believes in amnesty and open borders. But Mair wouldnt answer who was paying her bills for her advocacy during the timeframe of the Gang of Eight bill in early 2013 through the end of the last Congresswhen asked by Breitbart News if any specific tech companies or a select group of Wall Street billionaires were paying her.
Were contractually barred from disclosing our clients, Mair said.
That could mean anyoneeven foreign companies potentiallywere paying her during the timeframe she was publicly advocating for the amnesty bill. While she didnt have to disclose it to the public at the time now that shes hitched to Walker the Wisconsin governor owns everything she said and did.

How does the bill offend you?
That disqualifies Walker in my eyes. The last thing we need is anyone in public office PROMISING not to make ending abortion a priority. The "stalwart" pro-lifers in public office do enough hemming, hawing, trimming, compromising, and wimping out as it is--without PROMISING to do so.
Excluding commanders from prosecution decisions in serious cases would not reduce incidents of sexual misconduct, or add anything to the many options that persons suffering abuse already have. Military prosecutors frequently pursue cases that civilian authorities would avoid. What the legislation could do is shift power to Pentagon feminists and pressure groups who demand their version of "justice" no matter what the evidence shows.
When political pressure from within the chain of command interferes with due process, justice can denied. What the military calls "command interference" has resulted in dismissals of scores of cases, due to violations of due process for the accused. In a recent example reported by the Marine Corps Times and Washington Times, Marine Commandant Gen. James Amos asked a military convening authority to "crush" junior Marines accused of desecrating Taliban corpses. Pressure such as this violates rights of due process − the only way to achieve true justice for all.
I didn’t insult you, or even challenge what you said. I just asked for your opinion. Why are you so hostile?
Bttt
Please forgive my defensiveness but when I provide a prompt response elsewhere to other indiv(s)and the response is not to one’s liking, I can only put up with so many “but whys?” of the same question in another sentence form. I can guarantee no one will be changing my mind and I know I will not be changing anyone else’s right now.
Announce what?
That he, too, supports the “camouflaged” Amnesty that dozens of other Amnesty RINO’s support?
On multiple occasions, Cruz has publicly stated he will not deport any illegal immigrants who have not violated other USA laws.
On multiple occasions, Cruz has publicly stated he would have voted for the Gang of Eight Amnesty if it required that border security be “certified,” and if there is “no path to citizenship.”
His guarantees are worthless.
No Democrat president will ever vigorously enforce border security, and, in my opinion, Jeb, Marco, Rand, and Scott Walker will not vigorously enforce it, either.
The “no path to citizenship” is political comedy.
Every Amnesty RINO knows that provision will not survive 15 minutes in the Federal Court system.
And if somehow it does survive, before every election millions of immigrants will be in the streets demanding citizenship and screaming “Racism” at the GOP.
The GOP leadership would buckle in terror within 24 hours.
I want to know who his ADVISORS are and Campaign Mgr.......anyone who hires moderate nincompoops will NOT get my vote.
He drew the second largest NH crowd so far, with 200 people, as compared to 450 for Walker. He unofficially announced his candidacy on Beck's show last Friday. Ted will break out when the debates start. Until then, he'll be Palinized.
its amazing isn’t it....its as they are searching for the needles in the haystack...
When I see a photo of a woman, and she has jawbones like a Quarter Horse stallion, it makes me nervous. One glance at that photo told me she has bigger nads than Gov. Walker has. In a little while she’ll be running every aspect of his campaign and telling HIM what to think. IMHO.
A majority of threads on this site are posted by people “mining the innerwebz” for stories that they think will be of interest to others.
You have a problem with that?
So, Walker hired someone that doesn’t agree 100% with every conservative position in the world?!
OH, NO!!!!!
This is childish stupidity and nonsense from you Cruz supporters.
Obama is surrounded with like-minded socialists and deserves criticism for that. Having a staff of diverse opinion is healthy. This woman does not make policy, but can offer a counterpoint that is useful in crafting how to get the message out effectively.
But, some of you are so desperate to paint Walker as unfit, that you will grasp at any straw you can.
You forgot your RINO speak tags
I have a longer track record on this site than you do, and my posts speak for themselves, so run along now.
And by the way. Be proud of your “republicanism” they’re the ones supporting amnesty, you genius, you.
Putz, I have looked at Walker with a jaundice eye since he started his feelers.
He’s likely a paid staffer.
I have mentioned before that this guy will be another of the same old same old. Everyone was hyping this guy as if he was the best thing since the invention of the atomic bomb.
I still don’t think voting will fix anything, but if Ted runs, I think people should be getting behind that.
sure thing. too bad you can’t really prove it. oh well.
He’s just more of the same.
The real problem here is that no amount of voting is going to fix anything, to think otherwise is seriously delusional.
When more people realize and accept that, perhaps then something can be done.
