Honeymoon Over: Scott Walker Under Fire for New Open Borders Amnesty Advocate Staffer Who Mocks Iowa
Breitbart ^ | 3/16/2015 | Mathew Boyle

Posted on 03/16/2015 8:28:38 PM PDT by gwgn02

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker made another massive misstep on Monday, hiring Liz Mair of Mair Strategies to handle communications and social media for his campaign-in-waiting.

Mair’s support for amnesty for illegal aliens, wide-open-borders immigration policies, and public advocacy for the Senate “Gang of Eight” amnesty bill is sure to dog Walker in Iowa, South Carolina, and other early presidential states.

During the Senate Gang of Eight bill fight, Mair very publicly and very aggressively promoted the amnesty bill—pushing it to media and making the case for the need for it over and over again. She claims her advocacy was done out of the good of her heart, for free, because for religious reasons she believes in amnesty and open borders. But Mair wouldn’t answer who was paying her bills for her advocacy during the timeframe of the “Gang of Eight” bill in early 2013 through the end of the last Congress–when asked by Breitbart News if any specific tech companies or a select group of Wall Street billionaires were paying her.

“We’re contractually barred from disclosing our clients,” Mair said.

That could mean anyone—even foreign companies potentially—were paying her during the timeframe she was publicly advocating for the amnesty bill. While she didn’t have to disclose it to the public at the time now that she’s hitched to Walker the Wisconsin governor owns everything she said and did.

As long as she is spouting his policy that would support otherwise. A couple of her social positions were counter his during the gov races. It didn’t all of a sudden change him when he went to the gov’s office.

Again attack the messenger to divert from the news

What do you think the reporter is doing?

Is it a diversion to talk about Walkers associate?

Lets seen news, reporters, media/communications directors....

Hmmm

"Anyone who doesn’t think Republicans want amnesty more than Democrats is deluded. The donors they care about want it, and they are fine if that destroys the Republican Party United States."

Why would a conservative Republican associate with and conduct business with, and put into such a prominent position, an individual who is obviously pro-amnesty?

Would you do this?

As long as you evade this question, I will continue to ask you.

. I’ve read his obamacare replacement

What would that be? I never heard Cruz say he has his own replacement.
What are you talking about?

No you did not answer my questions. In fact you’re an evasive and deceitful individual.

This should be clear to most.

Not a good choice. No doubt about it, WI is full of Mexicans. There’s more of them here than in Texas. A visitor from Tx said that to me once.

People like Walker because he is unbeaten in some unmatched competition. So they won’t care how he does it as long as HE DOES IT....WIN.

I think in the end the GOP will put a Latino on the ticket...I’d prefer Cruz.

What do you think the reporter is doing?

Mmmm... report the news regarding a very prominent candidate. Didn't Scott hire this particular person for this position? Wasn't he for amnesty before he said he has changed his mind recently? If he truly wanted to show people that he has changed his mind, would he hire a very open amnesty promoter? What kind of message does that send to people who are trying to believe him?

Wasn't he for amnesty before he said he has changed his mind recently?

BTW, this reeks real bad. How could anyone capable of critical thought knowing what has occurred in the past 30 years, suddenly change their mind?

Mucho el stinko.

No sale.

Don’t need to. Walker has zero percent chance of getting into the White House. Dems hate him and he cannot face the media GOP e won’t put him ahead of bush or anyone who follows bush after HE falls flat
And conservatives will continue to be disappointed in him and tgen finally realize he went after the unions NOT for conservative reasons

“Liz Nair in her own words...”

...and here she is:

” I am a dual US-UK citizen, and the NHS was my primary source of health care for many, many years.”

“I’m actually a long-time gay rights supporter. I am on the board of the Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry. I was on the board of GOProud. I’ve been on the record as supporting same-sex marriage for far longer than the vast majority of Democrats or liberals.”

” I’m pro-gay-marriage and I’m also pro-choice, though I have some very major moral objections to abortion in most circumstances and would never have an abortion myself. “

“12. You want to deport all unlawful immigrants.

Unless we’re talking gang members or people involved in major financial crimes or sex criminals, no, I’m actually basically for amnesty. I’ll even use the word, unlike a lot of people.”

“15. You’re a RINO.

I have worked for, and like, a lot of more moderate Republicans. And I am a social liberal, and a big softie on immigration. So, yes, kinda”

“17. You spend more time trashing Republicans than Democrats.

Sometimes this is true. But the thing is, there are so many other people who trash Democrats so effectively that I’d just look too second-rate if I focused exclusively on that.”

“20. You’re not even American, how are you qualified to opine on American politics/culture/history/whatever?

I am American. I am also British.”

If Walker doesn’t dump her soon he’ll be spending all his time picking up her droppings.

Change his mind again?

Seems to be a pattern if he does it.

And the motive? It would be to save his own political butt.

People can give me trouble, but I won’t believe Cruz is against amnesty until I see a lot of proof. The Senate is the most anti-American institution there is. Anyone who wants to be part of it is automatically suspect. So far, it’s just a lot of talk. The Senate hasn’t done anything conservative since Cruz has been a Senator. Until he can deliver something substantive, he’s just Kay Bailey Hutchinson in pants to me.

Why would a conservative Republican associate with and conduct business with, and put into such a prominent position, an individual who is obviously pro-amnesty?

Because Republicans support amnesty 100%. The donors they care about want it badly. The 2014-2016 Congress exists for one reason: to make sure of amnesty. They will not accomplish anything else in two years.
