ANCHORAGE, Alaska Bristol Palin says she is engaged to Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer.
The daughter of former Alaska governor and former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin said in a blog post Saturday that Meyer came to Alaska to film the Amazing America reality show with her mother last year. She says Meyer is wonderful with her son Tripp.
Meyer was awarded the Medal of Honor in 2011.
The Kentucky native is credited with saving the lives of 36 Marines, Army soldiers and Afghan soldiers while providing cover for them to find their way out of a firefight with the Taliban.

So, Ginger or Mary Ann?
Bristol or Chelsea?
Bristol Meyer.
Good for all three of them.
Good for you, Bristol. Congratulations and good luck. :)

One day Sara will be a leader for us...
Dakota is a fortunate man!
But to answer the classic, decades old question:
“Ginger or Mary Ann?”
You should take one important factor into account: Mary-Ann (after suffering a bump on the head) woke up one episode and thought she was Ginger!
So, if you’d rather have Ginger, I can’t say you chose wrong. But if you’d rather have Mary Ann...you might wake up next to “Ginger” some fine morning!
Oh, Bristol without a doubt. Chelsea can’t hold a candle to Ginger, so it’s not a fair comparison.
I agree, but I’m not sure Chelsea has had as much work done as Bristol, if you know what I mean.
Twenty years down the line, plastic surgery catches up to you.
