Finally, some Good news~! Congratulations to the both of you and Gods blessing.
What I like is that Obama was the one to give him the Medal.
.
Yes, but close enough for bare foot humor.
.
A brave man indeed.
That is like asking a vampire to give someone a crucifix
“Its not a looks issue. It also runs in our family. Three cousins have had the surgery. The upper and lower teeth dont match.”
I have no objection for that reason. It just seems that a lot of women don’t think they’re beautiful simply because they don’t look like the Hollywood flavor-of-the-month.
Usss you caught the very quiet announcement t shortly after Her appearance on DWTS. You wouldnt know. She actually postponed the surgery not thinking she’d go very far on the program. The persons head must be fully grown so she had waited on the surgery for years. I paid attention to the announcement because of our family history. Usually diagnosed by a dentist. Jaw is broken and extended. Very painful and unable to eat solid food for some time
And Dan Rather, who couldn’t make it through boot camp.
Way cool. Congratulations to the Palins and the Meyers.
you’ll know who the true haters and disgusting intolerant are when the libtards lose their minds over this and say all kinds of filthy things
Their son could be Bristol Meyer Squibb?
Right on target.
People complain that “Medal of Honor winner” means that the Medal is being handed out like a lottery prize.
So, when FDR said, early in WWII: “So we are going to WIN the war; and we are going to WIN the peace that follows it” he meant that the American people, by sheer chance and luck, were going to have victory fall into their laps, like lottery winners?
Or did he mean that they would, through blood, sweat, toil, tears, and character, defeat their enemies and achieve victory?
People say that “Medal of Honor recipient” implies that the Medal has been EARNED by grit, courage, heroism, and sacrifice.
Right, like a “welfare recipient.”
I think a lot of people have fallen for a piece of idiotic P.C. linguistic crapola that has absolutely nothing to do with the English language. It has everything to do with our P.C. masters shaming us into changing how we talk as a demonstration of their power over us. Just as they have most people saying “his or her” or “their” when they mean “his.” Just as they have most people saying “undocumented worker” when they are referring to “illegal aliens” and “foreign invaders.”
There was a story that she had surgery to correct some condition with her jaw or chin - some cynics did suggest it was cosmetic surgery. It changed the shape of her face.
Is that like Katie Couric's "some say"? Because not one of the posters who corrected your mistaken usage said any such thing.
We're all impressed by your recollection of FDR's stirring oration from WWII, but what that has to do with how the US military and the Congressional Medal of Honor Society actually describes MoH recipients is beyond me.
As I pointed out before, it's unusual for a Medal of Honor recipient to survive the event precipitating his decoration, so "winning" is not an accurate portrayal of the solemn sacrifice.
Take up your objections to the correct terminology of "recipient" with the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and the US military.

And quit hijacking the thread.
That was my first reaction too. Whoever did it was very good. She looks terrific.
She does look very nice, but I thought she was quite a pretty girl anyway.
