Boggles the mind, doesn't it. How protecting the security of your nation equates to treason.

Well, how would he describe Barack Obama. Patriot? Please.

I would use the word a-hole to describe Eaton.

“VoteVets.org is organized as a non-partisan political action committee (PAC) and non-profit 501(c)(4) status in the United States.[1][2][3][4][5] It was co-founded in 2006 by Jon Soltz and Jeremy Broussard.
Although organized as nonpartisan, it has been described as “partisan”, “closely aligned with Congressional Democrats,” and “liberal” in news stories.[8][9][10] In a June 2011 press release, the organization specifically identified itself as the “largest progressive group of veterans in America.”[11]”

Coming from a military guy that understood the seniority of the military (with the President as the commander in chief) I can see his viewpoint.
I’m not a legal expert, but the Senate is not under that same framework.

" I do believe they defied the chain of command in what could be construed as an illegal act. "F him. The Senate is not in his precious "chain of command".
Everyone around here knows the rest...

I would use the word mutinous,
Really?
Does this general really think that Preezy is the captain and Congress is his crew?

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

How stupid can a General be? Now we know. Rather than a co equal branch of government Congress is now somewhere in the CofC. Good Lord.

Hey, General Eaton. You take orders from us. We don’t take orders from you. Now go back to feeding at the public trough.

I do believe they defied the chain of command in what could be construed as an illegal act. Eaton certainly had stern words for Cotton. I would be interested to see how he draws up the chain of command for the United States. Does he think the legislature is subordinate to the president?

We need their names so when they run as veterans no one thinks they are conservative just because they are veterans. One former Marine I worked with was a die hard union liberal.

You can’t commit mutiny when you don’t report to the idiots in charge.

“Major General Paul D. Eaton is a retired United States Army General most known for his command of operations to train Iraqi troops during Operation Iraqi Freedom.”
These are, of course, the Iraqi troops that strangled ISIS in its cradle, thereby helping to create the safe and modern Iraq some have dubbed the South Korea of the Middle East. Mission accomplished, indeed.

Yet another ignoramus who thinks that Congress REPORTS to POTUS.
