WASHINGTON She has been the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, a senior adviser to a Republican presidential nominee and a candidate for the United States Senate. But Carly Fiorina recently took on her boldest role yet: Hillary Rodham Clintons loudest critic.
Over the past few weeks, Ms. Fiorina has mocked Mrs. Clintons globe-trotting as secretary of state, assailed Mrs. Clintons use of only a private email account to do official business, and even accused Mrs. Clinton of stealing intellectual property. From her. Twice.
Ms. Fiorina insists she has no problem with Mrs. Clinton personally only with her liberal philosophy and policies, and what she dismisses as an unimpressive record on getting things done.

Has Fiorina even made a showing in any of the polls, so far?
I don’t recall seeing any polling numbers for her.
She has a lot of work ahead, if she is going to be considered a serious candidate.
That was my impression the only time I have heard or seen her on Fox. She was extremely boring.
I absolutely agree with you.
She’s performing a service - she’s pointing out to the NOW crowd that Hillary is flawed. Ok, so she doesn’t get elected. I appreciate her willingness to take on Clinton. Doesn’t mean I’m going to campaign for her.
No.
Puh...leeze.
I could agree with that. VP at most. I listen to her and I think she makes a good impression; but, she is new to politics and she needs some experience in that area.
My favorite quote from her about HRC went something like this: Most people know that flying frequently is an activity, not an achievement.
Agree.
What the hell makes this woman think she can be President?
We need a President who will stand up for the rule of law, the citizens and American sovereignty.
Will she? Haven’t heard her say a word about the invasion of illegal aliens. Probably a reason for that.....
Fiorina was a beneficiary of gender based political correctness that swept over HP. Her “new idea” was to merge with Compaq and coalesce an innovations company around a commodity. And then lay off thousands.
Think “opportunist” whenever Fiorina appears on the horizon. CEO? No, thank you. President/VP? Hell, no. Senator? No. City Dogcatcher? No. Astronaut for a one way trip to Uranus? Mmm.
I like Ted Cruz, but I'm not real enamored with the idea of another Senator for president. Governor's seem to be better managers, who get good people around them. Would be cool to have someone with some business sense.
I'd like to see someone win this outright quickly with no in fighting, then coalesce around the candidate win all three legislative branches.
I’m not sure my comment was entirely fair. Supporting mcCain in 08 was still a thousand times better than the alternative, as we have sadly learned, (and mcCain’s nuttiness was not nearly as apparent to some of us who had not closely followed his career - its blossomed a lot since of course).
“What the hell makes this woman think she can be President?”
I am hoping it is for a different reason than what made Obama think he could be President.
She only got 42% of the vote in her race against Barbara Boxer.
Like Hildebeast, Fiorina is one of the exalted ruler class, born to glory and hothouse-raised to expect us to jump when they speak to us.
Hothouse mandarins.
Newsweek once did an article on the three classes of politicians we have around us today. One sort was the singular talents, the meteoric types who rise on pure ability like Pat Buchanan and Jesse Jackson (both have tremendous oratorical skills). Another was the Bob Dole "Rotarian" kind, who work the connections for a lifetime, backslapping their way to prominence until finally "it's my turn". Jerry Ford was like that, indeed many of the e-GOP, or at least the way it was 20 years ago.
The third was the "New Mandarins" </off Noam Chomsky> who were hothouse raised to leech off public life forever. Newsweek's example was the Clintons, but they also fingered Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander as one of the type.
The course of honors: Bachelor's, magna cum laude of course, from one elite university, then Harvard or Yale Law, then government or a high-profile NGO, then elective office, and then the White House, barking orders to lesser beings all the way, and shamelessly helping themselves to second helpings of creme brulee from the dessert cart of high political office and effortless privilege.
Up next: Dynasticism and primogeniture, no doubt.
Can you see Hillary or Carly Fiorina doing that? Or Liawatha?Instead of affability (literally, "affable" means, "you can talk to him"), they radiate "don't touch me!"
Or am I wrong?
“I own a printer from the Carly Fiorina era of HP and it still works fine.”
I sold and Serviced Hewlett-Packard computer, printer, scanner, and instrumentation systems for many years. I formerly highly recommended Hewlett-Packard systems for many years, until the merger with Compaq and the arrival of Carly Fiorina destroyed the reliability, service, credibility, and reputation of Hewlett-Packard.
I still own tens of thousands of dollars worth of their equipment, most of which manufactured after about 2003 and later has proved to be pieces of very expensive garbage. They include HP laptop computers, desktop computers, file servers, DVD burners costing $500-$600 each, large format 24 inch wide printers, scanners, and more. Many of these products costing hundreds to thousands of dollars each failed multiple times out of the box, after warranty services, and after the expiration of warranty services. One laptop computer never worked, and no satisfaction could be obtained from Hewlett-Packard.
The Hewlett-Packard Website is incompetently managed, with basic product information never appearing or becoming deleted. Hewlett-Packard is like a person with a mental disorder suffereing amnesia from day to day.
Family and friends who have worked for Hewlett-Packard have reported the degeneration of the company, ill treatment of employees, and use of foreign labor abroad and inside the United States. They have also reported from inside Hewlett-Packard on how management directs the employees to use various schemes to deny warranty services for failed Hewlett-Packard products.
Also, do not forget how Carly Fiorina was involved in the criminal scandal involving corporate espionage allegations and unlawful wiretapping of a journalist and Hewlett-Packard managers. They also drove the founders’ family out of the printer division, one of the last strongholds of competence that has survived up to that point. Now you get LaserJet printers made in Vietnam with plastic gears that break.
Suffice it to say, Hewlett-Packard is not recommended, and neither is the person who was a major player in its downfall, Carly Fiorina.
I bought one when I bought my first comp., cost $300, slow as molasses but still works, last time I checked.
Hillary couldn’t even manage her emails
In the Republic of Kalyfornia 42% is pretty good
