Inclined to agree with you that the antichrist will come from within Islam. Whom ever it shall be must have intense hatred towards Christian and seek to completely subjugate us. There is only one group that I see who fits that description.

Actually, the way things are going, I shouldn't be surprised if the Antichrist (the last and greatest) makes C.S. Lewis's The Last Battle into a book of prophecy: the Narnian Antichrist (or Anti-Aslan if you prefer) is a complete fake put up by a cabal of Calormenes (thinly veiled Muslims) and Narnian secularists. The Antichrist coming out of the confluence of Islam and secularism would not be terribly surprising at this juncture.
