The whale was seen fleeing the scene, wearing a large gold chain, Air Jordan’s, and a dark hoodie...
He’d just gotten his life turned around and was negotiating a contract for a rap album.
nice!
Most of the time we had the ocean to ourselves (except for the whales and albacore)didn’t have to worry about getting caught by anyone.
How much is one of those anyway?
I would just like to say that I knew you were kidding about the fish thing.
I took a Caribbean cruise four years ago on a very gossipy ship. It's also amazing how many people get injured when they aren't careful and aware of their surroundings.
Nice!
She is beautiful.
beautiful sloop
Gorgeous boat - there’s the dream, raht theyah.
Where was Quee Queg?
Couple of years ago a guy I knew had his bottom taken out of his sportfisher by a whale right outside the mouth of the Ventura Harbor. He was sitting out there fishing.
His boat was docked right down from ours.
A commercial diver (don’t remember what kind of pots) saw it and saved his life. Boat was going down fast.
When we went whale watching in Alaska, the guide told us it was against the law to get closer than 1/4 mile.
You know, I never felt even a hint of danger watching those whales so close to the boat. They were just moving along under our stern. We weren’t allowed on deck if killer whales were seen. I know it goes against current received wisdom, but the captain, who had been commercial fishing a long time had heard of them trying to snatch people off the deck. If a tall fin was spotted, we stayed in the cabin and he stayed on the bridge until it was out of sight.
Central...we paid $92,000 for the boat. Had to sell the house and a few other things to get it. It’s our home now.
The previous picture was taken while the boat was in Lake Superior. The previous owners had it up there, then moved to Ft Lauderdale. They finally decided to leave South Florida and dumped the boat. WE got it for a song! It was turnkey ready too.
All we have to do is change the name on the boat...which we hope to do soon.
Here, enjoy a slide show of some pictures I took recently. We are anchored in our home marina in South Georgia USA!

The federal law is no closer than 300’.
“Federal whale watching guidelines; stopping the boat at least 300 ft (91 m) away from the whales and allowing the whales to approach us. The California coast offers a unique opportunity to observe whales and other marine wildlife year round.”
