As you can see, where I listed them, some are peculiar to that area, only.
I moved inland, from a minus 20 feet, (the New Orleans area), to a whole 80 feet ABOVE sea level, even though there are still bayous, swamps and ‘gators, near the Red River, located WSW of Natchez, MS and NW of Baton Rouge. The larger town has ONE coffee shop!
Oh yeah ,,, when hurricane gustav came through, i was in the recuperative section of the V.A. hospital. it was a separate u-shaped building, with a raised walkway-sidewalk for the handicapped folks in their motorized chairs. Well, the hurricane came, the building was fine, BUT ,,,,, with the addition of the walkway, all that water seeped into the building, to a two-inch depth. At the time, i was just getting out of my electric hospital bed ... splash. It was a mess!!!!!
