“The protests were not nearly as large as four years ago, growing only as large as about 3,000 people compared with 100,000 in 2011.”

I love the smell of miserable libtards in the morning. Probably the last good thing Walker will do as a “conservative” before he shows his true colors..

You know, as much as I hate unions because of the way they turned into the tool of the left, it is ironic that the only item of the conservative agenda which is getting any traction is union-busting. That in and of itself is a good thing, but when looked at in the big picture of what's happening-jobs going overseas, the country being flooded with cheap (legal and illegal) labor, the Chamber Of commerce backing amnesty and the GOPe backed by the CoC--something very globalist and "Club Of Rome"-ish is going on here.

Money quote:

Rep. LaTonya Johnson, D-Milwaukee, and a member of AFSCME, said she cares about people more than freedom.

"It's the workers in this state that are suffering through the politics of our governor's ambitions," said Democratic Rep. Cory Mason, of Racine.

Last data I checked says that "the workers" in WI are going better than ever through the politics of this governor's ambitions. That might not be the case for the "government workers", but they are only a small percentage of the sample size. Alas, democrats are loud and obnoxious about an overrepresented group of constituents (union and government workers).

"It just angers me to know that we come here and we pass bills that affect people's everyday lives and we don't have a clue as to how those everyday people live or how they survive," Johnson said. "This bill is a bunch of crap."

She hates this bill because the workers will take home more money, or choose to donate to the union. She hates this bill because the union will lose money that it would otherwise spend on liberal candidates election ambitions.

So saaaaad. Boo hoo!

Still stinging from Walker's signature 2011 law that stripped most public workers of nearly all their union rights

I suppose freedom of the press is the right to invent rights.

There is a double win here! First, you give people the unfettered right to get a job and second, you cut off union funding of the RATs. The second effect is probably more important in the long term than the first.

No bias there. Not even close to being true, but who cares?
The entire Media is a LIE Machine, nothing else.

Still stinging from Walker's signature 2011 law that stripped most public workers of nearly all their union rights . . .

What nice, fair, balanced reporting, eh?

From what I've read, the only "right" taken was the dubious right of unions to force the employers to automatically deduct dues?

Did I miss anything else?

Once workers found out that they couldn't be forced to join unions and pay the Jizya, they left in droves. Isn't this what led to the current right-to-work legislation?
