Dems vow to protect Boehner from conservative coup
The Hill ^ | March 6, 2015 | Mike Lillis

Tea Party Republicans contemplating a bid to oust Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) shouldn't count on Democrats to help them unseat the Speaker.

And without their support, there is no chance to topple Boehner in this Congress.

A number of right-wing Republicans, long-wary of Boehner's commitment to GOP efforts attacking President Obama's policy priorities, have openly considered a coup in an attempt to transfer the gavel into more conservative hands.

But Democrats from across an ideological spectrum say they'd rather see Boehner remain atop the House than replace him with a more conservative Speaker who would almost certainly be less willing to reach across the aisle in search of compromise. Replacing him with a Tea Party Speaker, they say, would only bring the legislative process — already limping along — to a screeching halt.

We would rather have Boo Hoo as the Speaker than some of these characters who came here thinking that they're going to change the world.

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend...”

RINOs, GOPe, and Socialist Democrats in collusion.

One big Punch and Judy puppet show.

“Limping along”—what, the GOPe isn’t rubber-stamping the rats’ agenda fast enough?

These ‘RAT protectors are pretty powerful. They’ve been protecting the Arizona “maverick” for years. He’s their guy in Arizona.

Arlen Boehner.

Dems can make him their man, but it's knee caps or buckwheata if he is a democan speaker supposed to be a republican speaker.

Duct tape his tanning bed when he's in it and drop it in the closest landfill.

Ah... the mask comes off...

Should be all you need to know about Boehner and the GOPe - just two facets of big gov’t wanting to control everything about you.

So if the Democratic Party is running interference for their ideological soulless-mates on the Republican side of the House, does this mean that any investigation by the House Republicans into illegal, political improprietaries by corrupt, liberal bureacrats and politicians, such as the VA scandal, IRS targeting conservatives, Fast and Furious, ect., will be conveniently mismanaged, with facts exposing guilt to be ignored, and blame shifted to innocuous reasons as to why an obviously politically-motivated, harmful event happened?

The quid pro quo treachery by Boehner, McConnell, and other RINOS, will, I expect, sooner than later, shift to targeting us individual conservatives (think Net Neutrality) as somehow enemies of the state to be dealt with by permanently restricting our ability to speak out against these traitors.

I agree with most of the comments from the blog (The Hill). The two-parties are caucusing of the same party
nowadays and for quite some time. Why would they want him to step down or be ousted by the conservatives. The progressives wake up each day to destroy conservative values and business policies.

Their are 245 Republican member in Congress or 244 w/o Boehner. Have them meet with Boehner and demand that he step down.. If he does not, then the whole Republican body will not support any bill and vote “NO” on any bill brought forth on the floor. Note Democrats (190 members) do not have enough membership to pass a bill without any Republican votes. Pulse the new speaker of the house would need 218 votes to be elected. Therefore again the Democrats would not have enough votes to elect a new leadership
I know that it is wishful thinking. But this is food for thought!

"Dems vow to protect Boehner from conservative coup"

There it it, the kiss of death. If the dems want to protect and keep him, let him switch parties!

Get out or be put out, traitor!

Birds of a feather? Still too many RINOs...75 GOPers 31% of caucus (aka: 5th column) voted to fund “clean” DHS bill. GOP controls Congress conservatives do not. Old Serpent smiles.

I don’t know whether it’s Boehner singing to Pelosi or Pelosi singing to Boehner, but the song is “You got a friend in me.”

Then we’ll just have to defeat The Orange Man’s supporters on both sides of the aisle (and we know he has them). Won’t be easy, but it’s necessary.
