I think it’s because most low information DemocRAT voters expect their politicians to be crooks and lawless thugs. They want their politicians to be just like they are.

The base wants someone far more progressive. And the establishment is terrified that she will f**k it up again and blow it.
This is a calculated move to get her out of the race.
I believe she has dirt on others in power and would threaten them with exposure. Hildabeast is slime from under a rock. Add to it that politicians protect and cover for their own.
The Beast will come up with some government hack who will say the government approved her servers as secure and approved for official use.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that she charged the cost of the setup to the government and billed them (us) for monthly charges.
It is not uncommon in illicient groups that an email account is created. More than one person is given the log in information. Emails are never sent but kept in the draft file to be read by the others logging in. Group can then Communicate without actually leaving a footprint

6. Questionable relationships with people of questionable background (including daughter’s inlaws , sibling of both Hill and Huma etc)

Why would she need additional "control" over her e-mails? Doesn't the standard government Outlook system offer control by means of folders, out-of-office replies, calendaring, etc? Control at the server level allows one the ability to delete entire e-mails that originate from that domain, or are sent to that domain.
There is a possibility of other e-mails originating from Clinton's address to show up on other servers, but the whole idea that she set up her own server to "control" communications just reeks of illegality. Lefties continue to pummel Nixon to this day for allegedly destroying 18 minutes of tape, but Nixon has nothing on these people. Nixon never had the media in his camp protecting him, either.
I think more and more Democrats see Hillary as someone who would have been a formidable candidate 15 years ago, but is now someone whose best days are behind her. Her disastrous book tour, her complete failure as Secretary of State, and her current troubles involving foreign donations and her private email system are causing Democrats to conclude that a Hillary Clinton presidential run is a train wreck waiting to happen. They cringe every time she speaks in public these days. I also suspect that internal polling among younger voters is showing that they are not the least bit impressed with Hillary, and regard her as a relic left over from the last century. The Democrats know that they need to find another nominee, and fast.
I think there are more than a few Democrats who want to dump her, but who else do they have that has name recognition and the ability to raise lots of money including from illegal sources? That said look at 2008 when everyone thought she was going to easily get the nomination and she was upended by an obscure Black Senator from Illinois who came out of no where. Hillary lacks Bill’s natural charm and often comes off as shrill, condescending and not very likable. Even her best line of 2008 when she hit Obama with the who do you want to answer the 2 am phone call didn’t stick.
If Benghazi couldn’t doom Obama 2 months later it sure can’t doom Hillary 4 years later. Meanwhile though nobody likes her anymore, I’m still saying she’s not even going to run.
Well, apparently one of her Guys did screw with Harrison Ford’s Airplane to divert attention from the Email scandal. LOL
However, combined with the foreign money, the "dead broke" comments, the new sex scandals she may NOT survive.
Along with the fact that having her own server is SO smarmy (maybe also illegal) in itself regardless of whether they find any incriminating emails. And what of those incriminating emails...they may have been destroyed on her end but what about those in State and other agencies who received them. Will the IG's go after them?
