A small plane piloted by Harrison Ford has crash-landed at an L.A. golf course ... but we're told the actor has survived. TMZ has learned ... Ford was piloting what appears to be a vintage 2-seater fighter plane Thursday ... when something went wrong and he crashed into Penmar golf course in Venice, CA. We're told Ford suffered multiple gashes to his head and was bleeding. Two doctors who happened to be at the golf course rushed over to treat the actor. He is a lefty, but it’s interesting he’s involved with Conservation International (which partners with corporations to clean up the environment and gets a lot of flak for it) than with one of the more militant environmental groups.
One of these days, there’s going to be a movie one completely in CGI. There will be actors in it that could’t possibly have worked together such as Rudolph Valentino and Mel Gibson.
My Dad learned to fly in a PT-19 Cadet? Had an inverted straight 6. Not a radial engine like this one...
Any landing you can walk away from...
“...Number Still Airworthy: 85+...”
A little update:
Number Still Airworthy: 84+.
Looks like a PT-22.
I think the fighter plane has AK 47 assault rifles with high capacity magazines in them pictured on it.
It also appears a SUV was in the vicinity; likely partially involved in the dangerous situation.
Likely the effects of climate change made a difference.

No fire. Could be he ran out of fuel.
I’m reasonably sure it’s a Ryan PT-22. Fun airplane to fly. The stall can be a bit abrupt. The throttle I think, is just a volume control for the engine. Never seemed to run any faster, just louder even thought he tach said otherwise.
Reporters! “two seat fighter plane’??? How about a trainer? Ryan PT 22 Recruit. About as docile as you can get. The old Kinner just couldn’t hold up.
He’ll be alright. I’ve walked away from worse.
Thanks, I was thinking maybe it meant “Gay Agenda”.
Hope he will make a complete recovery.
One of my favorite actors.....loved "Presumed Innocent" and "Air Force One" - to name but two.
Good one !
You get a free drop. :)
From the photos, it looks like he had it under control until the gear collapsed
he didnot crash. He executed a forced landing
